Figma to After Effects
Export from Figma
The first step is, to export the project from Figma. For that, click on The Figma Icon>File>Export frames to PDF…. .pdf is already an Adobe format, so we can do a lot with it. Within the Adobe Eco System.

Convert to .ai (Adobe Illustrator)
Theoretically, we could already import the .pdf into After Effects. But then it would be just an image, and it is not possible to control the single elements.
Which is the reason we open it in Illustrator.
There, we can create a layer for every element we want to influence individually later on in After Effects.
We can create an extra layer for the logo, the menu, and so on. Whatever makes sense for you.
Import in After Effects
In After Effects, you can import the file now and select Composition for the Kind.

This gives you a composition with the size of the .ai file and every layer you previously created arranged correctly.
